When you think of bowl cuts, you may picture embarassing, mushroom-shaped, straight cuts. Your mother may have used a bowl to help trace out the shape around your head. 

However, the bowl cut has been reinvented as a more stylish and modern look that  looks great on anyone.

    This careless, out-of-the-shower look uses an undercut and top length reaching the ears. The hair is split into curtain bangs and styled with a round brush to flip outwards.  

    The wet appearance comes with the use of some gel.

    You can’t go wrong with the Classic Cut. This cut is perfect for any  occasion where you need to look polished and relaxed at the same time.  

    This look goes with an undercut where the front bangs are  layered right above the eyebrow. It also can be styled with pomade to achieve a slightly wet look.

    This bad boy haircut will definitely give you some edge. This haircut involves an undercut with a middle-part. 

    The long top length reaches  the top of the ears. You can style it naturally with pomade.

  4. 4 The Relaxed Shag

    If you are feeling a little frisky, you can try the relaxed shag cut. It  is a long undercut with the top layer pulled to the front of the face.  

    You can use mousse or a curl enhancer to enhance natural texture. Finally, finish with pomade to maintain the style.

    Similar to the regular bowl cut, this hairstyle comes with a little  twist. This ashy blonde classic bowl cut has back layers pulled to  the front. 

    You can style it with a round brush and a hairdryer to swoop the hair to the right side of the head.

    The Classic Blonde features bleached blonde hair with copper roots. You part it down the middle with a curtain bang focused  with layers. 

    Style using a hairbrush and hairdryer combo focused towards a back swoop. 

    Here Jackson Wang  uses the middle part to create a symmetrical, trendy look. This style brings the perfect combination of fun and personality.

    This just-got-out-of-bed look allows for more kinky tousled hair. The undercut has a heavy top layer parted to the left side. It is  styled using a curling wand with hairspray and teasing to enhance the volume and curl pattern.

  8. 8 Beach Waves

    With this haircut, you will be surfing on the runway. This tousled  beachy and fun look flaunts purple lowlights. on an undercut, 

    Spice it up with a middle part and choppy top layers. Style using a scrunching technique with mousse or pomade.

  9. 9 The Elegant Bowl Cut

    The classic bowl cut allows for an elegant and classy look that would be perfect for any formal occasion. This style works with a tapered undercut with a hard right side part. The top section is lightly layered and styled using a comb and gel.

  10. 10 The Swoop

    The Swoop provides the perfect balance of volume and waves in a cute, casual manner. It is a long bowl cut with a long undercut. This cut falls into a side part with heavy curtain bangs. 

    The curtain bangs swoop outwards with help from a round brush and hairdryer.
